Bio

Born in Kaduna, Nigeria, he studied fine arts with painting as his major at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Nigeria. Presently, he lives and works in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Whether as portraiture or composition, Nwanne’s works looks at life from two dimensions; the incorporeal and the real. The real helps the viewer to make connection with what is familiar, whilst the element of abstraction captures the sense of unreal. This serves as a Path to access our True Human Existence that embodies these two Worlds; physical reality and none physical reality.

The freedom to make a composition, a portraiture, by applying figures and objects from our objective reality as characters rearranged to re imagine another reality that explores different aspects of our human experience is what is being explored.
